Maintenance fund for family visit visa

Hi,

I am planning to call my parents on family visit visa.

i am self employed and i have around 8k in savings for last one month..

would hat be fine for sponosring there visa.

They have come twice in the past .

I am currently on ILR Visa.

Please advise

So what exactly do you need advice on? Do you need to know if the 8k in savings is suitable for the visitor's maintenance? this is more than enough.

though 8K is a good amount but without knowing the specifics it's difficult to say whether its more than enough or not.

it all depends on the number of person visiting, duration of their stay, nature of your sponsorship (either partial cost or full cost), whether the visitors are showing any financial contribution towards their trip, accommodation arrangements (e.g. hotel vs private) etc....there is no 'one size fits all' answer.

They are coming for 4 months and i would be bearing all the cost.

what i wanted to check if savings has to be mainatined for last 3 months for family visit visa

Guys please could you advise if one month maintenance fund is maintained?

If your parents are visiting for 4 months. you are paying for their flight and and food and travel cost within the Uk for 4 months, 8k would be enough depending on the cost of the return flights. I think you need to do your maths. 1k per month if your parents are living with you would be more than enough for food and travel cost within the UK just for your parents

do i need to maintain the 8k for 3 months in banka account...

I have only mainatined the fund for last one month... would it be issue?

there is no requirement that I know of to maintain funds in your account for 3 months or indeed any amount of time to be used for a family visitor's maintenance in the UK.
