Post by swati1000 » Sat Aug 03, 2013 11:16 pm

Dear Senior Members,

I am going on PEO service by 02ndSeptember 2013 and my visa is expiring on 30th September,2013.My Questions are as follows.

Can i apply 45days prior to my visa expiry date and will it affect when i will go for my ILR after 3years?

What matter should be their in Letter from Employment?
Is it mandatory to submit all below?
NI contribution Bill?
UTR letter?
VAT reg and returns
Latest Annual Return showing share holding information
Corporation tax letter from HMRC

Please help me as i am bit lost.Planned to get married in October and really don't want to mess anything in between.

God bless you and thanks a million in advance

First of all I would like to thank the people on this thread as a lot my doubts were cleared after reading their posts. Also would like to thank the Visa Consultant as he was very clear about my application and guided me accordingly. Looking back, the last three months have been very stressful, a lot of sleepless nights and a few nightmares as well. However, the PEO experience was fantastic.

Appointment was at 9.55 am. Reached at 9.30 am. Waited at the entrance for 10 mins. Then airport style security check. Got the token number. Went upstairs and paid the fees. Then was called for biometric, submitted
the documents. Waited for a hour and half. Got called to collect documents and approval letter. So total time spent at the PEO was nearly 4 hours. Everybody was nice and polite.

Had to show 55000 as earnings. Showed 8400 as salary and 48000 gross dividends. Documents submitted:
Salary Slips
Dividend Vouchers(signed by me as director)
Business bank statements-12 mnths
Personal bank statements-12 mnths
Invoices
VAT reg and returns.
HMRC letter for PAYE number
Marriage Certificate
Degree Certificate- tho not necessary i think.

This might help somebody: I had not taken the Salary every month as per the salary slips. So made an Excel table to show Salary of each month with details given on the slips like date etc. and mentioned in the end for the all the entries that I have taken the Salary in of two payments(date as per bank statement). Got this letter signed and stamped from accountant and got it printed on accountant letterhead.

Thanks and good luck.

Belfast not shown in PEO appointment booking

Post by kvndk » Wed Aug 28, 2013 9:28 pm

Hello,

I am trying to book PEO appointment online for Tier1 General extension. In the list I couldn't see the checkbox to choose Belfast PEO. Not sure why its not seen, I remember seeing it, when my friend booked for his appointment. Not sure if I have to call Belfast PEO and book appointment. Anyone faced this scenario, please share if you have any clue.

Regards,
Krishna

My Experience at Cardiff PEO

My experience

11:00 AM : Reached Cardiff PEO
11:05 AM : Finished with checking and issued a token and sat in the waiting lounge.
11:30 AM : My number called to register the case, they key-in all the data in to the system and kept all the documents along.
11:50 AM: Called for biometrics and got done in 10 mins
12:00 PM: They asked me to go out and turn the phone on and wait for the call. The time duration due to lunch got extended from 1 - 2 hours. Received call after 2:30 Hours.
14:30 PM : Got a call from case worker and wasn't asked for anything else
14:35 PM : went to the window after clearing security again and the guy at the window asked me to wait in the lounge as the case worker was away
15:00 PM : The case worker came and called me to another window and handed over the documents and asked me to verify that I am receiving everything back. After that he declared the news of extending my visa with the letter.

Important: A lot of people said that they been asked for invoices/contracts for being director of limited company. I was told by the case worker that they might ask me to bring additional support. But in my case I filed additional supporting documents like:

Company's Insurance
Appointment Letter for being Director
Company's VAT Certificate
Company's registration certificate

And they never asked me for any additional support

Hi folks,
Just wanted to know is it helpful to submit tier 1 extension application in person through immigration/visa consultant or firm? I never had done that before.
They seems to be charging £1000 plus even though I will be filling up forms and providing each and every evidence required.
Actually I am applying on self employment basis this time so a bit nervous ?? do they ask too many questions at the time of application? mostly I read on this forum that they receive application, and check documents and asks for submitting biometrics and tell the applicant to stay in the PEO office or to go out and come back when case worker calls you.
Please share your precious experience and suggestions, I will be very thankful.

[quote="bilal_zain"]Hi folks,
Just wanted to know is it helpful to submit tier 1 extension application in person through immigration/visa consultant or firm? I never had done that before.
They seems to be charging £1000 plus even though I will be filling up forms and providing each and every evidence required.
Actually I am applying on self employment basis this time so a bit nervous ?? do they ask too many questions at the time of application? mostly I read on this forum that they receive application, and check documents and asks for submitting biometrics and tell the applicant to stay in the PEO office or to go out and come back when case worker calls you.
Please share your precious experience and suggestions, I will be very thankful.

The process is straight forward if your documentation is in place. I was at PEO Croydon last Friday and I work as a Director for my limited company. I made sure my documents were in place, submitted them, waited for 2 hours and my visa was approved. If they are unsure of your documentation, they will call you for a quick interview. You will have to answer a few questions and provide them with additional documentation if required. This interview will take place only if they are not happy with your documents. If you are confident you have every thing, you have nothing to worry.

Also, you get visa consultants for £600 who will fill out your form, advise you of the documents required and send a person along with you to Croydon for your confidence.
