Hi!
I am an incountry applicant of HSMP. I am here on the student dependent visa. I applied for HSMP on 28th of april (still waitnig for reply). Now the problem is that I came to know that home office has changed the swithching rules and From 1 October 2004 the immigration rules will be changed and only overseas nationals in the following categories will be permitted to switch:
Work permit holders; or
graduated students; or
working holidaymakers; or
postgraduate doctors or dentists or trainee general practitioners.
Switching outside of the Immigration rules will again only be allowed on the same restricted basis as for work permit employment
Now I don't know wheather I can be switched from student dependent visa to HSMP.
can anybody tell me? plz moderators.........?
