its been 11 days (8 working days ) they have taken the money out from my bank but I didn't receive acknowledgement letter. Is this normal or shall I go to the post office and ask for it?

Approval letter says to contact local authority within 21 days (allow 2 working days for docs to be received).
All in all, 10 days to make a decision. I hope this gives everyone here still waiting a boost! All good things come to those who wait:)

i did, thks for the pointers and i know what you mean by impatient, i seem to be more eager on this application than the last two (LLR & ILR) which took longer for me and were more tedious than the current one.
