my wife is claiming benifit

Post by suis » Mon Sep 02, 2013 11:48 am

hi all,
we managed to get PR by this year march ,but we still haven't applied for child benefit,

we have a 6 year old daughter(born outside uk) and another baby was born(uk) may/2013 (after our PR) , we still haven't applied for Passport for our new baby.

here are the questions ,

1 . do we have to send our (me, my wife and 6year old daughter) passports ?

2. do we only have to send our BPR (me, my wife and 6year old daughter)

3.do we have to send our marriage certificate ?

4. any address proof or any other documents ?

to approve our application ?

thanks
regards

For each child in this claim we need to see their:
birth certificate (full or short version), or
• adoption certificate.
If any child in this claim was born outside the UK we also need to see their passport(s) or their travel documents used to enter the UK
Please send a copy of your Home Office documents (BRP) to us with this form

thanks for u r quick reply, i am clear now that i don't have to send my and my wife passports but do have to send my 6 year old daughter passport with the application.. i originally thought to send our passports and the original BRP card ... but i assumptions were incorrect with your reply.

thanks again .

Child born abroad = passport.
