Would you be able to tell me if your passport got stamped for 5 years or do you still have to register every year?

Hi

I got a stamp in my passport for the long term residency. It reads:
Permitted to remain in Ireland until
11 October 2011

And then some signature and date.

So my passport is fine for 5 years.

My GNIB card expires on that same date. So that is fine for 5 years as well. Stamp 4 this time.

So there's no more queing for me for a few years

I was talking about LTR after working in Ireland for 5 years.
