Generally, there should be some which can sponsor you when you start applying for jobs in UK market. Kindly keep the below points in mind, which would help you to have safe and good experience when you arrive to UK with a sponsorship(job offer)

Tier 2 sponsor has to be in list of companies approved by UKBA.
Ideally they should not charge money to you and ask you post dated cheques kind of things. If they believe that sponsoring a resource is risk, they can ask nominal amount deposit, which has to be paid back immediate in your first pay check. They should take care of you in each and every immigration process, air ticket and accommodation during initial days. Hope the response helps..

Thanks
John

Hi John,

Thanks a tonne for the response. And yes, will keep those points in mind. Although, when you say nominal amount, upto what sort of amount is safe for the deposit??

Also, do you by any chance know of any accounting firm who could issue me a COS??

Thanks & Regards,

Grace

nominal amount n cos

Post by tier2user » Fri Sep 13, 2013 10:37 am

Hello, nominal amount would be between 250-350pounds, which they need to return. No way they can charge money when they offer sponsorship

Regarding COS: Have no clue about accounting firms. Good luck when you start applying for jobs in UK, once they find the right candidate they do not hesitate to offer a sponsorship
