That same number and that same lady would be your best bet.
Please do not send me PM if I haven't sent you one yet.

Hi Lucky, the number you mentioned above I do remember calling the same number 08453000627 and spoke to guy, he was really a nice guy - helped me through my query and also sent me the employment history. I did get it within 5 working days. I will paste you the address on the letter I had you can try that number and request them:

HM Revenue & Customs
Pay As you Earn and Self Assessment
PO Box 1970
Liverpool
L75 1WX

Also, write to them that you required employment history for the tax years 20xx - 20xx for example:
2008-2009
2009-2010
2010-2011
2011-2012
2012-2013

I hope this helps.
Kind regards

dont worry about calling them because they will ask you to write to them.
you can request your employment history via email by sars.caseworkerpostteam@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk.

Do include your name, dob, ni no, contact no and last five year addresses. Also mention in your email that you want last five year work history including employer names and paye ref no.

And they can issue this from 6th April xx to 6th of April xx.
If you call from UK landline the call will be dropped saying this number is for overseas clients only. I called from Mobile and it did go through.
