I guess we have no way of knowing the true story but I suspect that the delays are probably at the HO end (as all other mail I've had delivered via Royal Mail recently has been on time). I suspect mail sits around in the HO before they send it out for delivery unfortunately. :(

Anyone else suspect the same?

did you phone the council or HO?

I phoned the council left voicemail they supposed to phone me back they never. Phoned them today left voicemail again and probably wont get phone back again. So annoying I believe I will need to email the HO again to see what they will do.

5 weeks ago. I have got an email from HO saying that its been decided but didnt disclose the decision. They said I would get decision letter shortly. its been over a week now still nothing. Its worrying me and giving me nightmares to be honest. If you are worried email them and see what they say. They reply back in 2 days time.

That's great new, Emrah! Glad it all eventually worked out.

I emailed the HO and they responded with their standard template email saying no decision has been made yet (however, they have sent the standard template email to many people who subsequently then found that a decision had actually been made at the time they enquired). I am very irritated but guess I just have to wait a bit longer!

My application is straightforward and I am not from a high risk country.

I think I will give it another week and then I will call the NCS I went to to see if they have received a certificate for me.

congrats emrah.

Did anyone keep their royal mail tracking numbers for recieving?

I only ask because i realized afterwards that although i had used special delivery for both sending and receiving, the receipt i had only had the tracking barcode for sending and that the server lady in the post office should have highlighted that fact and either issue me a copy of the label or asked me to write it down for reference.

The above seems to be the current address. Most people seem to be waiting up to a couple of days for a response.

Borello - Waiting is frustrating but the process seems like a bit of a lottery! Some people get quick approvals in weeks some just have to wait, and wait for months....! Perhaps check in with the June/July timelines to see how they're going (given you applied around the time they did).

I am starting to get annoyed with the wait too but it will come in good time. I guess I just have to wait a bit more...!

Congrats tao.wong, helen12 and xlisusx!!

xlisusx - who's going to maintain your list now!! ;) Hopefully catch you up soon!

sikiliza69 - when is it going to be our turn??!! Hmmmpff!
