No nothing yet here as well. I applied on the 2nd[/quote]

I think you should start asking your banks whether there has been any movements on your accounts just in case ;)

I am not sure if you use online banking, but I do, and I do not need to call or check with my bank to see if the money moved in my account ;). I am not in a rush any way, they can take it when they want.

I applied on 30/09. No money taken either.
I applied 20th September and fees was only taken the 8th October. I did ring them as i was slightly concerned that most applications fees where debited within a week. Home office response was that they have a large number of applications due to rule change end of Oct and can take up to 4 weeks to acknowledge the application..

thanks for your contribution Happydays uk.

UKnow, Sometime times it takes couple of days for a momvement to appear on your online statement and if you call callcentre they can see if there is any movement on it is way to complete but its up to you mate as long as you feel comfortable about what is going on but when called their banks people were told in many cases that HO tried to take fees but someone entered payment details incorrectly so happy waiting ;)

Its simple it will show up on online bankinh like say x amount balance but available amount will be less than that by application fees that way is fine if its more than 2 days since u see this less balance then thats mean ur bank is holding funds for verification so call them and confirm. But if available balance and available money are same then there is no transaction pending so no point contacting bank.

Reason why I personally see taking fees as important if as applying date, if not more.
1- many things could go wrong with taking fees including ho staff making mistakes.
2- like everything else they won't even look at application till fees are taken.
3- it looks like it takes 4 weeks or so from the fees taken date to get a a decision. So hopefully good luck for everyone.

Unless money has been taken I wont personaly b satisfied that my application is in process as they dont tpuch it until then and u dont know they might send it back coz of some mistake maybe payment error when payment is taken then I will at least know that process has started.

Sri,

Doesn't look promising for Oct applications so far. For December trip, i would recommend you prepare yourself for long waiting times.
NCS is ideal for giving back passports so that you are not tied by HO service time limit. we have 6 month before you can complain and it has only been 1 week so far! we have 23 weeks more to go :(

not sure mate, everyone is holding their breath for these payments to go through. This when your count should start. Before payment, no meaning for putting time limit for things. All the best for al and keep us update.

Our applications were posted by NCS people on 4th October and given us a royal mail tracking number, but when tracked it is showing as: >>>>> Your item with reference SCXXXXXXXXXGB has reached its PO Box and is awaiting collection/delivery.

I also called UKBA and they also said to me that, THEY HAVE NOT received the application YET!!

We are really very worried, Please can any one of you kindly advice us on what to do?

Please.....
