Thank you very much. I called them up. They weren't able to track my application. However they said as long as royal mail website parcel tracker says it has been received its just wait time for the application to be picked up.

There is a long delay in applications being picked up even for payment.i guess I will just have to wait for my turn

Called 0870 606 7766 sometime back

Post by knighthood » Fri Oct 25, 2013 10:46 am

Called 0870 606 7766 (croydon) sometime back to check the status of the naturalization application/s. the lady said, in the last 2 months they have received plenty of applications and that may be the reason for delaying in taking payments or processing. she has also said, refer ukba website, which talks about 6 months timelines for processing. if 6 months are already passed then she will be able to advise on the status. fingers crossed !!

Please what fee is charged for naturalisation (couple)?

Post by naijaman » Sat Oct 26, 2013 8:04 am

Sorry to bother you. I have applied for naturalisation and my account has been debited with the sum of £1,550. The confirmation letter says full payment. Will I still have to pay the ceremony fee to the council? Or is it still to the Home office? Thank you.

Please refrain from posting question here, however, the ceremony fee is included unless you choose a private ceremony.

WRS documentation- Naturalization Application.

Post by poorLeno » Sat Oct 26, 2013 1:56 pm

hi there,
I need some help, today I received a letter from BA asking me to provide my WRS documentation. I apply for naturalization in September.
Unfortunately all my certificates were lost or stolen 4 years ago. I provided a letter with all my registration numbers, couple of emails from BA from 2011 as a proof of my queries about getting new copies of WRS and my original blue cars UK Residence Documentation for a National of an EEA State.
I am in the UK since November 2004.
What do you think guys, are they going to refuse my application because of lack of WRS copy as a proof or they gonna check my details which I provided to make sure I was registered?

Are they going to refuse me?
Please help me.

Cheers

I am just looking at a someone's acknowledgemnt letter. His HO reference number has since past years been always the same. Its format is A1234567.

But on this acknowledgement letter there is a toally different ref number.

It is NFE1112723. (not the acutal number btw)

All the records are tied together with your main ref number A1234567, but I think sometimes for some specific applications there is a different ref number.

When I applied for my SAR about 2 years ago, the reference number I got given for that application was totally different from my main HO ref number. It said in the letter that if I ever need to contact DPU, I should use the ref number given by DPU.
