Are you sure you applied 30th October? This would be a record approval on 6 days. I have never seen this before.

It was still a quick turn around. Good luck with the Passport application, hope it goes well too. Do you know the date the fees was taken from your back account? Just to figure out how long it takes from the fees being taken till the approval date. Many thanks.

My application got to the homeoffice on 10 Oct 2013 and I still haven't received anything nor my account has been debited.
I posted my application on 18/09, payment hasn't been taken yet. I called Home office and they said due to rule change from 28/10 there is a big back log of applications
Just noticed payment deduction from the account today, seems like the staff is working weekends to clear the backlog. It's not very often you are glad that your account is debited.
Sent email to check progress of the application, I received the reply that decision has been made but they are unable to disclose the decision in email and that I should be getting it in the post. Application was sent via roay mail on 18/09.

Is it worth calling the Croydon office to get to know the decision?

Hi Kibria, your application reached on 18/09 or 18/10 ( October)?? In the time line post you mentioned:

Application type: Adult British Citizenship Application
Method of Application: Royal Mail Tracked, Guarantee Next Day Delivery
Date When Fees Was Deducted: Fee not deducted yet
Date of application:18/10/13
Date of Receipt of application: 19/10/13

If it's 18/10 then the decision was made very quick, good luck :)

Update!

Fee debited on the 9/11/2013, (Saturday) it appeared on my online statement 11/11/2013, I received my acknowledgment today 12/11/2013, dated 9/11/2013. I notice that they haven't include my life in the test certificate, when they were listing the supporting documents, I am concern that they may have mislaid it, can someone explain why they didn't include it in the list.

Hi tronca!

I received my acknowledgment letter today, it reads, this is to acknowledge receipt of your application and the following documents. They list some of the documents,, there was no mention of life in uk certificate, pay slip and bank statement, I am assuming that they have all of them, they were all in the same envelop.

Receive letter from Liverpool.

Eligibility criteria: Non - EEA Spouse of EEA + 2 Yrs permanent residence
Method of application: Royal Mail Tracked, Guarantee Next Day Delivery
Date of application: 15/10/2013
Date of receipt by UKBA: 16/10/2013
Date of debit of fees: 11/11/2013
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: 12/11/2013 (dated:10/11/2013)
Date of receipt of approval: TBC
Date of Ceremony: TBC

Received my acknowledgement letter this morning, and it says under the "our ref:" section "Type of application - AN6(1) + Ceremony". They charged me £874, is the ceremony fee included in that amount or they will charge me £80 afterwards. If the ceremony fee is included in that amount does that mean my application was successful???
I'm over excited and stressed out as i have a holiday booked for december (booked it with friends couple of months ago) and without thinking i had to send my travel documents off to UKBA because of the October language requirement changes.

Many thanks to the people on this forum, your posts have been very helpful for me this time and even last time when i applied for permanent residence. Family thinks i've done a big mistake applying without NCS or solicitor but i believe in you guys!! thank you all :D :D :D :D

Ceremony fee is inclusive and yes you made mistake by not using NCS as by NCS you don't need to send originals now who knows how long they are going to take for approval could take upto 6 months as in my case.........

Good Luck

Well not exactly mistake as that's what this forum is all about to get knowledge from experiences of others. If you need your passport and don't want to use NCS you can send notarized copy of your passport which is acceptable also
