OCI Documents for UK born Child

Hi ,

I am applying for OCI for myself and my minor daughter via post.

My daughter was born in UK and had Indian Passport. Now we have a surrender certificate.

Should I need to send her original birth certificate and our marriage certificate to support the application?

As long as your daughter has her own surrender certificate then apart from her old indian passport and surrender certificate nothing else is needed

in my personal experience (applied in HCI London - in person)
I was asked to provide -
1) Copy of Child's long form of birth certificate - self attested
2) Copy of Surrender Certificate of Child. - self attested
3) Copy of Our Marriage Certificate- self attested ( I think it served both the purposes - i.e. wife's name change after marriage and for child proving that we are the parents)
