Anyone had a similar problem?

Post by fatalist » Tue Nov 19, 2013 12:23 pm

Eligibility criteria: 5 years ILR
Method of NSC Brent 12/10/13
Date of receipt by UKBA: 15/10/13 as per NCS
Date of debit of fees: TBC
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: TBC
Date of receipt of approval: TBC
Date of Ceremony: TBC

Hi guys,
I just wonder if anyone has a similar timeline to me? I has been more than a month but I had no response from UKBA neither any money has been deducted from my account. I did contact UKBA by email but I got a very unhelpful response.

Thanks

Hi

Sorry to hear, I can imagine how you are feeling, I applied 15/10, my fee was deducted on 9/11, prior to that I must have emailed them about four times, you are not alone though, if you look at the naturalisation timelines, you will see a few, Mudassir is one of them, applied on the 10/10.
Send them a very sweet email, maybe that will help.

Good luck

Update:
Emailed HO and the answer was that the decision has not been made yet (14/11/13)
Is anyone still waiting for decision to be made who applied on or around the 14th/15th of October?
I am waiting. They received my documents on 14/10 But not worrying yet.
Szindy I applied on the 10th Oct, HO received application on the 14th. I have a good feeling this week will be the victory week for many. It appears that 10-12days after the fee is debited some applicants are getting approval so hopefully soon we will also. In the mean time keep calm and carry on......
Szindy Approval confirmed today by the council. I will update timelines shortly. :o

Thanks adil2009, MwanaKay and nionlight. I hope you guys cross the line soon. I am still celebrating. I never thought I would without the brown envelope. So how did it happen? I called my wife to verify again. Apparently she called the council yesterday to inquire about future ceremony timescales and the process they told her the person dealing with that was away and they took her name and number etc. Today the person called after lunch and spilled the beans that she was staring at both our BC certificates……Absolute epic! The postman can come whenever he likes now… the beans have already been spilled!

Thanks....to be honest I wasn't at all concerned about this not being approved. We've done everything expected/required starting back in 2005. It was just a formality now.

If you've done the same then don't worry!

Congrats man, I am celebrating with you, I am very happy for you, I applied on the 16, I pray mine will be approved soon.

Be bless
