Hi members, just a quick question; my wife arrived in this country 9 December 2008. So, she’s due to put in application for BC on 9 December this year based on the 5 year requirement.
Q- can she fill the application form and post (1st class) on 7 December which is Saturday to arrive on 9 December as they will start counting from 10th December ?

Why take any risk at all? Simply post after 9 Dec 2013.

Thanks for the quick response, I forgot to mention that she left for a holiday on the 11 December 2008 and will be travelling outside the country on 11 December this year too, as it’s the family reunion season and we’ll be in Manchester which is outside town busy from 9,10 till travel date. will appreciate any contribution

How could she travel out of the country if she apply by post? She will need to send her passport with the application.
Check the FAQ before posting!

Dear Jonice, You shold apply through Nationality Checking Services so you can keep your passport and travel with your passport. If you want to apply by post then you can post your application by post (2nd Class) on 6 or 7 December and they will receive on 9th December. I did the same thing for my BC Application and got approval within Two months. Good luck and God bless you.
