Just checked with the bank and no attempt has been made.

It is actually a joint application so it should have been £1550.

I have emailed twice and rang them twice and they gave me standard answers.

The alst email reply said said wait another 3 weeks and then contact back.

I also asked to give me any reference numbers associated with my application and they said all they can confirm is that we have received your application on 10/10/2013.
Hi Mudassir,
Have you tried contacting NCS that sent your application? reading from the forum they are also suppose to give some sort or ref: from what i read about people who applied thru NCS
My NCS in Nottingham said I could make use of them to check if there was a delay with debit of funds, but only after 3 months. I doubt there is a formal policy about that. It's probably just to keep people from hassling them about it every other day. Perhaps a bit of sweet talking though ... or perhaps your NCS may be more lenient.
I have spoken to NCS when I didn't have any response for 3 weeks. I asked them for references and all they gave me was Royal Mail Special Delivery Tracking number by which they send my application.

The tracking info does state that it was delivered to HO (Liverpool) on 10/10/2013 before 11:14 AM.
FINALLY!!!!! I am please to announce that my fees has been taken out from my account on 21/11/2013 so hopefully will receive my acknowledgement soon..... :D :D

I was a very straight forward application but I guess some applications take longer than others. I did not Involve my MP or ask to expedite my application.

Hi guys!

From the people I was able to exchange information with, it turned out, the UKBA does not process the documents by order. On the website it is written that the current waiting time is around 6 months, although many applications are returned much sooner than that. A friend of mine who got her passport last month said she has waited for 6 months and they asked her to provide additional documents to support her case. I can see that the money has not been debited from my account and therefore I'm still waiting for an acknowledgment letter. Do you guys know any email or telephone number we can reach them and ask about our applications?

Question AN application

Post by Summer14 » Sat Nov 23, 2013 11:06 pm

Hi all,

I have applied for BC on 24th October and I have filled in the payment slip the amount of £954 instead of £874. Do you think this will delay the process of my application? Shall i email/call them and ask what to do?

Many thanks for your responses.
