They will send you a letter containing a reference number, instructing you to call a number to book an appointment for interview.

When you call the number, they will confirm some personal details and use your postcode to find the nearest interview centers to you. You will then be given earliest dates in the different centers and asked to choose your preferred location and time.

I have got a few questions actually about PO check and send service.

The guy at post office took my application form, my Turkish passport, my citizenship certificate and photos then He just put them together and give me a confirmation code. He never put them in an envelope and never gave me a tracking number for special delivery. As it says on the gov.co.uk website they are sending them by special delivery Im a bit worried about it. Is this the normal way they are doing or the guy at post office was doing something wrong. It is very important documents he got and Im worried about it. please let me know how yours has been handled. Thanks

We have had someone else on forum whose passport application was pending for many months.

Your naturalisation took 2 years, and now something has flagged up in your passport application too.

I suspect its something to do with your background or your details closely matching with someone on some kind of watchlist/blacklist. It could be similar name, DOB, place of birth, place of residence in home country, where you studied or worked or some other details that kind of resemble with someone else.

Since home office granted you naturalisation after two years, it would appear that they would have done extensive checks and enquiries on you and decided you are not the "bad person". Now since HMPO has picked up the same issue, I am sure they will refer it to UKBA and soon they will get confirmation that you are not that "bad person" but someone else. It might take a few weeks though.
it turn out to be writing to C.signature, and a waiting reply

so as you said it looks like it needs another 2 -3 weeks

BRP is not required as when you get your naturalisation certificate the BRP becomes irrelevant. You should still keep it with you though. You need to submit all previous passports and your naturalisation certificate along with the form, fee and photographs.

No, you can't. You have to travel on an aeroplane or ferry or some other kind of transport. Passports are not big enough for anyone to travel on them.

Dear Ayyubi72,
I have noticed ur posting for a long time. U r very entertaining and I have enjoyed ur many postings uncontrollably. Very nice tonic for people for those who r in stressful time but can be hurtful to those who r very sensitive but I am very confident that they learn at least a lesson of patience from you. Keep entertaining the forum entries in a thoughtful way. I liked and ur so many replies and have laughed uncontrollably. Best wishes!!!
