EEA2 RC in old passport

Hey guys,
i have got a eea2 rc valid till nov 2017 in my old expired passport. I just got a new passport, and was planning to transfer it to my new passport? Do i really need to do it to travel in and out of uk freely, as some people say i can travel with both passports and its not a problem at all?

COA: 16/10/2012 (Dated 11th October 2012)
RC Recieved : 13/12/2012 (Dated 28/11/2012)

Just staple the both passports together and you will be fine.
