can you explain your case a litte more.

Are you saying that you have provided 8 months payslips, but breaks in between them? how much earnings did you claim over all etc.,

And the complete wordings in the refusal letter.

They cant refuse your visas

Post by victorind » Sat Feb 24, 2007 12:07 am

Hi,

Home Office is not going to refuse your HSMP visa if you dont get points for extension due to the Judicial Review filed by HSMP Forum (http://www.hsmpforum.com). So, till the outcome of the Judicial Review if you dont get points as per the new criteria then your application can be kept on hold till the judicial review decision which can take 6 to 7 months.

They wont give a firm refusal letter they would just say you fail to get the points and thats not as same as a refusal. So pay and join them.

A couple things:

My application was sent to the HO on May 29th and the fee was debited on June 1...out of country app, but it arrived to the HO from in country. I received my ref # on June 6.

But I didn't see the charge on my credit card until the 5th. Have you tried calling your credit card company to see if the charge has posted? I knew on the 1st that the HO had debited my card because I called my credit card company (with most credit card companies, the customer service people can see charges before you can).

Second, have you called the HO to inquire? They've been very helpful each time I've called, so I would try that if I were you.

I got my reference no. But said caseworker may be assigned this week and I could follow up from next week.

is personal loan Ok for financial proof?

Post by allgo » Sat Aug 04, 2007 1:18 pm

I need to arrange for funds for my EC to show I have sufficient balance.

Thing is I am onlyhaving about 1.5 lakhs in lquid cash in bank acct in my name. Rest can I take a personal loan and show as total 3.5 lakhs cash in account? Is personal loan OK? I wud have a proper document in that case to prove the new 2lakhs in my acct.

Again I can show docuemnts like KVP, mutual funds and NCSs FDs in my name which can amount to significant figure. Is that OK too? What else do I need apart from this? Do I need an affidavit on stamp paper n this that I can liquify these anytime?

Also I can get acct balance of my dad's acct but then my dad makes fund deposits in that acct in CASH quite often. Is that ok? Shall I need letter from dad stating he can support me. Is it needed to be on stamp paper too. If so what shd be the text.

Smone plzzz plzzzz help me out on my queries.......... Sm successful or knowledgeable person on this kindly answer the queries...

Thanks,

allgo

4.5 lakhs is sufficient.
And 6 months is the time period with in which you need to travel to UK,
But I recommend to travel ASAP else you will have problems in getting your HSMP extended.

I had sent mail to vfs- delhi as well as vfs-chennai office regarding time to travel to Uk after getting visa. The Delhi office says you should travel within 3 months of the date of issuance of visa. But Chennai Vfs sent me reply that there is no specific timeframe for your travel after you obtain the visa.

I have searched vfs site and seen hsmp guidelines also but couldn't find this information written anywhere.

If anyone has found the information in any of their sites, Pls. let me know.

Application Sent: 07 Sep, 2007
Application Rec: 10 Sep, 2007
Reference Number rec by email: 18 Sep, 2007 (Payment made through DD)

Sent fax to arrange courier on 19 Sep, 2007, they sent mail saying decision was already made and my documents were already dispatched using Airmail on 19th MORNING... :(

Confirmed over phone that HSMP is granted successfully. although happy to get HSMP, i am late to sent fax to arrange courier....

my advice to all is to mention to arrange courier in cover letter itself... i missed this part somehow...

Following are some useful things for the grp members.

1) Payment through DD (Appling from India)
2) NARIC letter included.
3) I have masters degree, however I have lost my original bachelors degree certificate. In cover letter i mentioned that, the degree certi re-issued with "duplicate" written on it. also sent transcript.
4) my ITR was in english but stamped in hindi, NO english translation letter sent.
5) I was not given earning letter from employer, bank stmt submitted..letter from employer stating salary credited to so and so acct number in abc bank submitted... stamped and signed payslip submitted...
6) for english, submitted letter from university as well as from affiliated college where i attended the engineerig course.

hope this is useful...

thanks members for all yr help... this grp is fantastic...
