I don't think that's unusual. They normally deal with applications within 6 months. Many of them get processed sooner than that but some people have to wait for 6 months exactly even more. I don't think you should be worried, you haven't waited for that long ;)

6 weeks and no acknowledgment yet?

Post by coop1977 » Tue Dec 17, 2013 3:14 pm

Application Timeline
Eligibility criteria: 5 (HSMP/Tier1) +1 ILR
Method of application: Nationality Checking Service (NCS) Islington London
Date of application: 1 Nov 2013
Date of receipt by UKBA: 2 Nov 2013 (checked using tracking number received from NCS when applying)

17 Dec 2013-> No acknowlegment received yet... and no money deducted?

- Its been 6.5 weeks now and i have not received an acknowledgement yet?
- On the ukba website they say in busy times it can take up to 4 weeks? Is it normal for acknowledgment to take very much longer than 4 weeks?
- Is there a number of email i can use to find out the status and if there is a problem or do i just play the waiting game?
