Latest fee deductions table for October applicants:

The percentage value represents the number of people who've informed us they've had their fees deducted as a proportion of the total number of people who've informed us of their applications. The percent includes people who've since also had their case decided.

Note that the date or date range refers to when we believe that the HO received the application, not the date it was sent.

Week ending Oct 5th = 100%
Week ending Oct 12th = 100%
Week ending Oct 19th = 96%
Oct 21st = 90%
Oct 22nd = 88%
Oct 23rd = 83%
Oct 24th = 46%
Oct 25th = 5%
Oct 26th = 0%
Week ending Oct 26th = 60%
Oct 28th-29th = 33%
Oct 30th-Nov 2nd = 0%
Week ending Nov 2nd = 10%

I'm keeping this up-to-date here.

25th October applicants

Post by dr_me » Mon Dec 16, 2013 5:35 pm

Hi,
I have contacted Home office today and got a reply suggesting it can take 2more weeks to get the fee processed due to large numbers of applicants. An acknowledgement is sent after deduction of fee. So no need to worry if your payment is not taken or if you have not yet received an acknowledgement. Just enjoy the festive season.

Thanks, I start worrying as well after seven weeks had passed and there was no progress at all.
Someone under November timeline has posted a link to an enquiry raised to HO under FOI for the delays in processing during Sep to Nov. Let's see what the official response will be. I am Hoping that by the time we'll get their response our payments will be processed and we will be in a queue towards approval. if everything goes well perhaps around 2nd or 3rd week of Jan some applicants will start hearing on approvals or end of Jan may be the time for most of us. Fingers crossed hoping for the best.

I applied on 15/10, they received it on 16/10, I receives the same response, no decision has been made, I ask the lady if it has been allocated to a case worker, she replied, it has been acknowledged. I have already known that, I ask her if I request my ID back if it will cancel my application and she says no. She was very helpful and polite, I will be requesting my Passport back, as I need it for id purpose. Good luck to all who are waiting.
All for one, one for all..... Peace

From conception of a child right down to graveyard, no event in the life works on FCFS basis. If it did, world would be such a boring and dull place.

I've Got a friend who submitted his one day before mines. So he sent his off on the 22nd of October, they received it on the 23rd of October. They debited his account on the 27/11/13 and he received his approval on the 16th/12/13.

Now its easy to say people like myself within 21-26 October, the approvals aren't far away.

However, I swear they go by the debit fees dates, from what am seeing its taking an average of 1-2 month after your fees has been debited for approval. Only few people i've seen on here to be very lucky to have their approvals less that a month of their fees being debited.

For approvals, we've had two 'outliers'.

Pqek (HO received Oct 29th)
dsds (HO received Oct 25th)

Other than those two nobody else in the forum has reported an approval whose app was received later than Oct 22nd. About half the posters who reported HO received Oct 22nd have reported approval.
