Hi everyone,
question: Is it possible to change ceremony venue after approval from council to another ? so as to have an early ceremony even private is full.

I haven't heard of that... but let me tell you one thing, take the date whatever is coming your way... private/public take it...

I'm expecting Oct flood to affect not only citizenship applications, but ceremonies & passport applications as well.

So for next 5-7 months, all the services (ceremony, passport etc) will be overloaded... take it whatever comes your way.. get yourself secured & out of this world of unknown timeline.

(I'm very frustrated to see applicants on 20-22 Oct getting approvals, but applicants post 28 Oct ain't even loaded on the system, let alone acknowledging receipt of application... and nothing is expected before 2nd week of Jan now.. that makes it 9 weeks just to acknowledge..)

Mate, where are from? if you don't mind asking. only because we are all in the same boat. and if you are from middle east or some specific countries from Aisa or Africa, it is going to take LONG before they decide these applications, good luck for all

today is the 19/12/13 and still I haven't received my acknowledgement letter. I've requested my documents back and all i get told when I ring them is that a request is being made and i will get them soon and also that my application is still in progress and October applicants should give 2 more weeks till approval of their applications. That is a lie because xmas is among us and surely nearly all the staff must be on break

My wife AN and child MN1 applied on October 21st. Money was debited on Nov 24th (Sunday) and acknowledgement letter received on Nov 26th (Tuesday) but so far we have not received any approvals yet. I am happy for those who applied on same date and have already got their approvals.

Fingers crossed!!

Hi friends,
Finally after 8weeks, my account is debited today. So 25th Oct applicants will sooner see their payments taken and acknowledgement is not far away afterwards.

Seems like people who's application was received by the UKBA on the 21st and 22nd respectively are getting their approvals. Am happy for you all and make every time of being British citizen worth it :)

Hopefully the 23rd and 24th of October shall be next. :)

There are plenty of persons waiting mate. And to be honest most of the early October ones are waiting for approval. i would say roughly 30% got approval and among that 30% , 90% are either EEA or spouse etc.

I have seen very few HSMP+Tier1+ILR approval for early or mid October..
