Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Fund

Post by wangwei » Tue Jan 21, 2014 11:34 am

Hello,
Fund required to invest ---£200,000 or £50,000?

What is the difference?

If I have £50,000 for 3 months in a UK bank in my name, say RBS, will that meet the requirements of fund to apply for Tier 1 (Ent) Visa. I didn't quite understand while I read the Tier 1 Guidance about the fund.

Thanks,

Regards.

@ wangwei, as a Tier4 visa holder, you can only switch to Tier1 entrepreneur visa if you have 50k funding from one of; venture capitalist firms, UK Entrepreneurial seed or UK government departments. Apart from this you can only apply through the 200k route.

Dear Olasunkanmi,

I am not sure about other financial institute. My fund is deposited in Royal Bank of Scotland. So, I think according to your post reply I have to opt for £200,000 route. Am I right?

Thanks.

It doesn't matter where funds is held, the most important point is to see under which category you can apply.
