You should receive everything in the silver envelope. I also sent a prepaid envelope and receive approval with all my documents, except my life in the uk certificate. I am now waiting to collect my citizen certificate on the 31/1/2014.
Good luck

Thanks loveislovely,
its great to see you here again after more than a year and half...im glad the journey is nearly over for us now..

Goodluck with ur ceremony and the passport..

im still waiting to hear from them as there doesnt seem to be any signs of the post yet although the money was taken out on the 19th. It usually takes a month and its more than a month and annoyed about waiting further as i desperately need my passport back..lets hope someone updates the timeline so we know that the october applicants are fully done!!

Looking at coolnattu's timelines, it seems to me that NCS applications are given priority over Postal, followed by Solicitors. I wonder why...

I am told that NCS applications are given priority given the fact that they would have been prior checking before the pack is sent to Home Office. Usually during the appointment with NCS, if the checking officer is not sure, they make contact with Home Office and given a go ahead or not to proceed with apps. In short NCs applications given priority over others unless it has other issues such CCJ, convictions etc.

No methods of applying are given priority over others.

What may skew any stats are that there is more potential for a postal application to be rejected due to not having the review done by the NCS.

That email means nothing. You always get the same generic response. Ive been waiting since 1st of june 2013 when i received my acknowledgement letter and no update since. Its now 8 months. A few emails, always the same generic response. I do not believe that anyone actually reads the queries as the response often doesn't match the question. There is NO telephone option. The numbers on the website say all queries are dealt by email. Waiting is the only option. Cannot understand the queue system.
