January 2014 Application Status (Approved/Pending)

Hello All Forum Members,

Could you please share the timeline of application who applied in January 2014. Even if your case is approved, could you please also share it for others.

Here is my timeline:

Tier-1: Entrepreneur (Switching from PSW within UK having 50K funds)

Application Submitted: 24/01/2014
Application Received: 27/01/2014 (Because of weekend in between)
Fees Deducted: 28/01/2014
Acknowledgement Received: 01/02/2014 Dated: 28/01/2014
Biometric Letter Received: 01/02/2014 Dated: 30/01/2014
Biometic Submission: 03/02/2014 (Monday Morning)

Your response in this regard will be highly appreciated.

now will take 2 weeks and they wil contact u...2 possibilities...
1.ur case has been approved.
2.a letter saying sorry for delay in ur case...need some further checks and will give u a date..on letter if u received.....

i applied 21 dec...bio done 14 jan and a letter received to wait on 26 jan...saying u have to wait till 7 april...

@aliraza.lca. Thanks for the reply. Hope you will get your visa soon. Did u submit fund outside uk or in uk bank account?

@Aliraza.lca as I have applied 28dec2013 bio done 9th jan2014 but I have not received any letter so far...what should be the possibilities guys.?i have applied through psw route 50k overseas funds....it seems dec they gave visa in bulk but the day when I apply after that they became slow.....hard luck....

I have applied a day earlier then you and i just came from biometrics now. Now lets see who gets first response. All the best for your application

yep we showed overseas statement (3rd party)....
well if u check my last post with the name of decision delayed????...
there r some people who r receiving this letter specially who r applying in dec or jan14....
dont panic guys just wait...if ur docs r genuine than no need to worry..

Received a letter dated on 24th jan saying decision will be done by 8 weeks.

Through psw route .. funds all overseas from my personal bank account..

Hi Friends

In my case

Visa applied 08/01/2014
Biometrics 23/01/2014 ( along with it a letter telling about 8 weeks)
Letter 10/02/2014 ( you have to attend an interview and it might be with in march 31 2014)
With prayers to GOD,
mine is PSW 50K, Overseas fund.

Keep posting friends, it gives us an idea and hope, as nobody is responding other than all of us.

Received a letter dated on 27th jan saying decision will late more than 8 weeks because they have to interview me.
Received a call on 11 Feb ,they asked me if I can come to interview on 15 Feb or I have to wait an invitation letter, I preferred to wait.

Biometric done on 27 January
Received a letter today (5 March 2014) stating they're not being able to decide on my application in the stipulated 8 weeks time as they have been waiting for a response from a government department or agency verifying information or documents. They hope to decide on it within April 28.

I attached Companies House documents and the printout of the FSA register of my VC firm with my application. Only these two papers relate to the government departments. Submitted documents are genuine.

So, what do you think about the probable outcome of my application and how fast? I'm worried that they couldn't verify a document in long two months time. Your expert opinion please!!

Thanks Shaz for your appreciation.. My interview lasted for 1 hour 10 minutes it was straight forward the guy was
young who took interview and mainly he just noted down my answers.. there was nothing he was trying to put me in
trouble or ask some silly question or favor me it was neutral some questions were common nd few are case specific
he told me before that it will be this way..
the questions are almost the same mention in the index you can search there.. but I can help you as well...

What you were doing on psw exactly explain in detail ?
Any related qualifications and experience ?
Why this particular business you decided to do ?
What Market Research you have done ? your competitors, advertising, products & services prices rates ?
Business insurance ? What insurance you have ? what is covered ?
Where does this access funds come from ?
Do you still access to the funds ?
Just be your self try to answer all the questions don't stress your self stay to the point if ask for detail then add to it.. you
must have applied the case your self so there shouldn't be anything that you don't know about.

Hello mates, please update if anyone has anyone got approval on January onwards applications. I've been waiting since 10 January 2014. My application is based on 50K VC fund. Meanwhile Home Office wrote to me that they're waiting for a response from another government department verifying some documents/information. I'd appreciate your opinion about the fate of my application. My VC Firm is 100% genuine.
