No, there wasn't. I just needed my passport back, not an update on the application or info about timelines.

Bumping the thread everyday isn't going to make things move any faster. Hardly anyone from November has been approved yet, so I don't know why you're all thinking Decemberites are going to be approved right now.

Be patient. People will update this when they get the notification.

Thanks rikken for this valuable info but it's really not nice to know that almost all the Nov folks are still waiting, is it?

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.

Considering UKBA state wait times can be up to six months, and there was a recent event - the changes to language requirement - that have caused a spike in applications. Despite this I'd say they are still well on track to approve almost all requests well within this timeframe.

Again, be patient.

Not at all. Thanks! My prayer is that we won't have to wait for too long before we all have good news to share.

Once again, thanks mate for that word patient!

Agree with TTOE, there is nothing wrong in being hopeful. Indeed 6 months is the wait time, but for 98% of the people here since timeline started it has always been less than 6 months for the approvals. Yes oct did cause a massive backlog but i am sure things are getting back on track again.

Would new applications effect the people who need there certificate corrected? I mean how long does it take to change an E into and I?

I was informed at Manchester NCS that the number of applications after Oct 2013 per month are far less than average, hopefully that will make approvals come sooner. :)
