1. for FLR M form for wife which i apply after 20th july 2014, any requirement ?? LIFE UK or ENGLISH??

For flr(m) only English level a1 no life in uk

2. if i don't include child by then child visa expires but as you said. if my ILR visa come i can apply for british passport for them.
will there be issue of child visa expire??

You can apply for registration on mn1 for your uk born child after u get ur ILR.what I read in this forum is it doesnot matter if child was born ki uk so expiry of visa is not a issue .in my situation it never happens.

Thanks

Hi
Many congrats to those who successfully got their ILR ad good luck to those who are waiting.
My question to all is
I am planning to apply for ILR in the 1st week of April, at the moment my application for FLR is with Home Office for over a year for Tier 1(Entreprenure). I am planning to vary my application incase Home office doesn't come up with a decision on my present application, can I vary my application in this case? Second question is there anyone one who successfully varied their application to 10 years ILR and got their ILR visa? If so kindly please share your experience
Thanks a lot

Yes u can vary any time
ASJID 73 case was same as urs , he got ilr few month back, a very helpful guy i think u can try to search his name in forum, and look through his posts.
He successfully got his ilr and also varied tier 1 dependant appliction to FLRM for his wife.
Good luck

Hi, everyone
I have just come across this news at Home Office website,
and was wonder if these new regulations apply to (10 years Long residence applications),
Does it mean SET(LR) applications would now have a Premium Postal Service, where decisions would be made much quicker,

In-UK Non PBS / Unit Costs April 2014 / Current Fees / New Fees 6th April 2014 / % Increase
ILR Standard – main applicant / £248 / £1,051 / £1,093 / 4.0%

Hi guys,
First of all, thank you so much for everybody’s kindness and support that you have been showing to members of the forum. I have been following the developments of the British immigration laws since I am also hoping to join the ranks of the British citizens in the near future. But I am having doubts regarding my situation and would be grateful for your advice.
I have been on HSMP visa, followed by Tier 1 General Migrant, but as a dependent to my husband. My husband has been working abroad all this time and continues not to be able to qualify for ILR, I am staying in the UK.
The situation re visa is as follows:
Clearance: 11 January 2005
Date of Entry: 17 April 2005 - The rest of the Tier 1 General visas have been prolonged successfully.
The current visa expires: 17 February 2015
In this 10 year period I have been away around a month altogether.
So I am hoping to have a straight case for my application for ILR, 10 year legal stay.
My questions are as follows:
When making an application for ILR – do I have to start counting the 10 year period since 17 April 2005?
Is there any chance to apply for ILR on 11 January 2015, or on 17 of February 2015?

Thank you again.

Hi Gurus, moderators friends and well wishers,

I came to UK on 17-Jan-2005.

I was on Student visa for 5 Years (done PhD from UK uni), 6 month on PSW and rest on Tier 1 General. All visas extended on time or before the expiry date. 120 days in total outside of UK.

My current visa expires on 26-Jan-2016.

Shall I apply on 10 years Long residency or Shall I wait until 26-Jan -2016.

I do not have any dependent in my application.

Which is the earliest date i can apply for 10 year based ILR.

Thanks

Congratulations! It seems a few of us September applicants will have to wait for 5 + months, as mine hasn't arrived either.

Enjoy your freedom :)

hi there,i am looking forward to apply for indefinite under the catagory of 10 years long residency but there are things which are extremely worrying me and i cannot find answer.i shall really appreciate if anyone jumps inn with exact information.
1-i do not have any single gap
2-out of 540 days i have spend 512 days outside uk but never spent 180 days or more at any one time outside uk
3-what about the departure date from uk and the date of arrival, are both counts towards
4-during student tenure i did not do any job and i do not have employment history on me
5-during post study work i spent more time outside uk as i was not been able to find job so i dont have employment track record
6-which exact documents would they be required
7-do i need to send all of my qualifications certificate and degrees.
if it has been names as 10 years lawful residency then is there any point asking for all record??

thanks mate

Hi All,
received the approval letter with PP via RoyalMail. (Mrs texted me as I am at work). please update Skydrive
it is not been a great journey in the last 10 years (missing some great work opportunities due to Visa) but I can now look for them with little less hassle.

Guys, don't lose hope as I am sure you all done loads of research before applying, so good luck with u r applications.

I have sent the below and took every effort to make things clearer for the case worker. (remembering what Channel 4 reported about the case workers)
1. Passports (2)
2. Biometric Resident Permit
3. Life in the UK Test – Pass Notification
4. Employer Letter
Along with detailed but not long cover letter.

[quote="tnt2429"]Hi,

I applied for my wife straight to SET(M) without being asked to switch to FLR(M) first like SWSS case. Hence only paid £1426 through online appoinment booking. The appointment went so smooth and without any questions. Guess it was a very lucky day for us. On the SET(M) form we only filled in maintenance for section 7B which does not requires £18,600 salary as my wife came to UK in 2011 (the old rules applied).

Regarding SET(M) supporting documents, we submitted:
1. Marriage certificate
2. Life in the UK test
3. PET English test result and certificate (to demonstrate B1 level)
4. 6 cohabitation documents
5. 4months payslips + bank statements to prove payslip payments.
That's all we submitted together with the application form (+ photos + passports).

I hope this helps.

Hi tnt,

Its regarding 6 cohabitation documents...!

How many months you submitted for 6 cohabitation documents?

Thanks...!
