Hi,

Today I received a call from UKBA and they asked few questions about my application.
They told that this a way to process our applications faster and if they need to know more about the application they will call for the interview.
Asked 5 questions depending on the business and the business contracts.
Please be ready for these kind of interviews as well.

Yes the interviewer said that I m from ukba.......

All about contract and business activities like premises and when u hire employes what u will see when u hire an employee means qualification and potential.....

Yes guys that's true. They have started this process and i came to know through one of my friend. he applied about 7 months ago got interview intimation letter about venue and time last week. but this morning he received a call from UKBA. Guy there asked him few questions regarding funds and his marketing strategy (website).

So be ready for these kinds of calls.

When and where is your friend's interview scheduled? You mean they conduct tele-interviews even when personal interview is scheduled?

Do they call on landline or mobile? Is the no. disclosed on mobile or does it come as 'unknown' no.?

I got the same call today , the interview lasted for like 10 min , I received a call last week on from Ukba , if I can attend the interview this sat but I refused. In the end he said they might or might not call me for the personal interview.

His interview had not been scheduled. He had just got the letter in which they say time and date of interview will be followed. They have called him today on his mobile phone around 10. AM with a private caller ID.

I think those who got such calls are the lucky ones !!

They might not get a call for personal interview. Guess, the decision will be taken on the basis of telephonic interview.

I think you are quiet right. They might be backlog. And wants to clear out the pending applications.

I received a call from ukba yesterday 15 feb 2014 as well.they ask almost same questions from everyone.
i asked her that i am surprised that someone calling from ukba on saturday,but she told me we have extra hours to work on weekends to decide the cases quickly.

I also got similar call this saturday morning with similar sets of questions. I am sure they are accelerating the process up.

Has anyone received verification call after won appeal? Is HO verifying only those whose applications haven’t decided yet?
