Excellent news for us

Post by Static » Tue Jul 10, 2007 7:40 am

Well.. I am better healthwise AND... got my work permit in the post yesterday!!!!!!! took exactly 14 days from posting it so really quick :):):):):):) We are also moving at the end of the month so we'll be having a big party and you're all invited along with a bunch of our friends that are all really nice people from Ireland and all over the world. So.. there is light at the end of the tunnel for us. We are here legally for at least 2 years. :D

Thrilled for you that you've finally found a way to get on with your life here, even if it wasn't through the route you'd hoped. Wish you and your husband (and the kids) all the best :)

Congratulations Static.

Happy for you

This still does not affect your right to get EU-1 i believe and you can still chase that option.

All the best to you.
In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.

congratulations!
I am not, and cannot, offer legal advice to particular people. I can only discuss general areas of immigration law.

People should always consider obtaining professional advice about their own particular circumstances.

I GOT MY WORK PERMIT TODAY!! Its only for a year but at least I can have a normal life now. They were really fast. They returned my papers once last week and I taught it was gonna take 2 weeks but it only took one!
I hope everything goes nice for all of you as well, I know is terribly hard to be sitting home doing nothing(I still dont have an answer for my EU1 7 months and counting)
