Online Social Media Content & Credibility of Tier 1 Applicat

Post by rizwan567 » Thu Feb 20, 2014 10:07 am

I received below some UNVERIFIED information this morning. Sharing with you guys.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Online Social Media Content and Credibility of Tier 1 Applicant

In order to substantiate the genuineness of a Tier 1 entrepreneur application, the UKBA may look at information available in the public domain, they may look at an applicant’s twitter, face book linked profile to ascertain or corroborate their previous business experience. If this information is found to contradict the Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa application, then not only will the application be rejected but the applicant may face further recriminations in having to explain the potential use of deception in making this application and this may lead to a ten year ban under paragraph 320 (7B) of the Immigration Rules

Looks to me like some fake mail. No one has received such an email. They usually use letter to inform any such thing. Did you check the email address it came from? That might help you identify if the source is genuine.
