Hi Jaysan

See my repsponse below

1)I have recently upgraded and my salary is changed so will there be any questions raised? or i have submit my appraisal letter to justify the hike?

As far as you can show a correct nett tak home which reflects your bank statement , you need not show any apraisal letter. They won be bothered about hike in the Gross for a month.

2)I am placed onsite where as my Bank A/c is in Chennai ICICI Bank so do i need to submit orginal ICICI Bank Statement or statement send by Bank thorough email is Acceptable?

You have to get original statements on banks letter head, sealed & stamped.

3)Can i submit only Form 16 orginal or photocopy ? Is current year Income Tax is sufficient or I have submit last 2 year Income Tax proof also?

Its enough to submit current year as you wil be claiming the same.

4)I need to submit a salary certificate from my Company ? is it required?

You can submit one ,coz its always a weightage to your past earnings proof

Hope this is clear & please reply if i missed any information.

Cheers

For the past income (period Apr06 to Mar 07)...

I have the following documents:

1) Payslips
2) Form 16 and ITF
3) Bank statements
4) Letter from Employer stating my GROSS salary

I think I have mentioned this before...that in this period my company name changed a bit from XYZ Software India Pvt Ltd to XYZ Semiconductor India Pvt Ltd.

All the docs have the new name.

But my bank statement address still has the old name and the address...

What do you guys suggest?

Should I drop the bank statements? and do with docs 1,2and4.

Or I mention this discrepancy of the bank statements in a covering letter? I think this will complicate the issue...dont you think so?
can you provide format of letter from company stating salary.
How much detailed should it be? how would it contain details monthly?
will some company be willing to give such kind of letter besides pay slips?

HI rsathish

As soon as your payment is received they will give a unique reference number(through email normally) , coz this number is very important for future references of your case.

Then most of them receive this email & i have one friend who dint receive any email and one fine day he got his documents back in post (luckily with approval letter).

So wait patiently & check your mails properly , sometimes it might sit in bulk too :P

All de best

Cheers

Called the home office help line to check the case worker's name, cindy rep @ call center denied disclosing the name of the case worker. How do you guys come to know about the case worker's name?

Please help.

Proof of age

Post by cdraina » Tue Jul 03, 2007 10:48 am

Hi,

Is "Driving Lisence" sufficient for the age proof?

Did any one of you get an approval with just "one" age proof document?

Thanks

Hi ikon 1400,

Could you please give the format of the letter that you got from ICICI bank?

I got a similar letter from my bank but at the end it says that the issuing manager does not hold any responsibility and liability. I am worried that this statement would nullify the whole contents of the document. So if you could share the format of your letter it would be really great and I can ask my bank to give another letter in the same format.

Thanks in advance !!

past earnings

Post by !xobile » Fri Jul 06, 2007 4:32 am

Hello,

I am applying through a consultant in bangalore(since I wasnt aware of this forum and also HSMP rules properly at that time).
I have all the documents required for all points section.

In the previous earning section.
I have got the payslips for the previous 12 months and an experience letter from the employer(No salary details on the letter).
Form16 and SARAL for assessment year 06-07.
bank statements showing salary credit entry with the Employeers name.

But my consultant told me that He is aware of a case where the an applicant got nil points since his paylips had the financial year mentioned at the top of the page and not next to the month for which the payslip is.
My payslip looks similar. Now as you all know we generate the payslips using the Workflow ourselves and there is noway we can change the format.

I requested HR dept to give me a letter on the company letter head, with the salary breakup for the last year.
Ofcourse I did not tell them the purpose for obvious reasons.
For which they refused saying that they donot disclose salary information formally on a company letter head.
They can max give me an experience letter, and they said they can speak through phone or in person If any entity wanted such a proof.

Now I am not sure what to do in this situation.
Please advise.

Ikon et all,

My bank statements for the period that I am claiming are basically printouts on plain A4 paper, but stamped and signed by the bank manager. As you know, letter heads are expensive and they would never agree to give the 12 month statement on company letter head.

Do you guys think this would cause any problem? Or it is better to attach the statements sent by the bank by mail quarterly?

Pls advise.

Thanks
