You are completely wrong dear. The waiting times is six months but when you start seeing application months after yours coming through and you know of a fact that you have been law abiding and your case is straight forward, you begin to wonder why so many application are coming through before yours.anotherbrickinthewall wrote:People showing desperation must have skeletons hidden in the cupboard and are wary these will come out the longer HO spends on their application. Date of receipt by UKBA: Called Bromley after reading their receipt document for the special delivery tracking code. My application was received by 'L Scott' on 19/02/14. Coincidentally received confirmation of application receipt and fee taken out of my account on 27/02/14.

lol you sound like one of those useless home office guys defending yourself ... there is definitely no logical explanation for not considering an application prior to those who apply later on ... common sense mate ...
The mischief is rather on the home office ends and needs to be thoroughly investigated ... surely there will be loads of skeletons coming out ... as always something or the other !
Seriously guys, whingeing and whining is not helping anyone, so please just wait and stop wasting HO personnel time, so they can get on with their job.

How do you think its even a descent service standards where there are people waiting from 4-5 months to just get assigned to a caseworker but the applications submitted as recent as 4 weeks earlier are already processed ...

I was viewing all post regularly from last 2-3 weeks, and was getting little nervous when I saw people who applied in Jan 14 getting their approval, Last week I gave a call to HO contact, however person over phone said application still need to be process and 6 months is waiting duratiion and you need to wait till that time, I assume response over phone depend on person or their mood(so HO response should not be taken as accurate), wishes you all to receive your approval soon

I asked them what are criteria to deal the applications because most of applications are pending since Nov and Dec but some applicant got the approval who applied after me.
She did not give me proper answer but she said every application has own criteria(depend on complexity)..
