Postal application to French Embassy

Morning,

I have previously had a six month schengen visa from the French embassy, and need to apply for a new one. I now live in Avon and have heard that as I'm married to a UK citizen and have had a visa before, I should be able to apply by post, but their website doesn't list Avon as one of the options for postal application.

Has anyone done this from Avon or have any advice?

I'm really not keen on travelling to London purely to apply for a visa!
