UK Postal Order

I am going to apply for HSMP within a few days.

Can anyone pls tell me from where to buy UK postal orders because I'll pay by UK postal order.

Also I have another confusion-the rate of exchange between Indian Rupee and Pound Sterling is changing everyday.So,is there any mandatory thing like I'll have to compensate for the appreciation(if any) in Pound's value when it reaches Home Office.

E.g if I buy 400 pounds' UK postal order and submit the HSMP application form on 12/02/08 and it reaches Home Office say on 15/02/08,shall I have to pay more money because the pound has appreciated against Indian Rupee?

If you are in the UK, then you can buy postal orders from your local Post Office branch. The exchange rate will be fixed at the time of purchase.
