Previous earnings for Tire 1 General

Post by midatalas » Mon Feb 15, 2010 10:38 am

Hi,
I wish to claim points from March 2009 to Feb 2010. I have my earning of 7000£ under tier 2. I also have earning from my base office to claim the rest 28000 £. I am eligible to claim 7000£ that I had earn from tire 2?

I am raising this question based on Immigration Rules Appendix A Attributes Section 8A.

FYI

Thanks & Regards,
Somesh M.

Current visa is tire 2. Its active till next august. I receive my base office salary in my salary account in my base country, which after conversion come to 28000 £. At the same time i have been paid per-dims in UK every month, which sums to 7000£ till now.

Oops! My question is, will my earning, which is less then 20,000£ for a give period and earning is out of tire2, will this be considered or not as per the Section 8A of Appendix A Immigration Rules? Please see the bellow link for clarity. Please not that I am applying for tire 1 for the fist time.

You will not be able to claim points for previous earnings less than £20000, if you are on Tier 2.

Still confused about your query, in your first post you said that your income from base country is £28000 equivalent and the post above says that your income is less than £20000.

Are you asking if your 'per-diem' allowance can be taken into account to calculate your previous earnings along with your base country salary?

If you receive per diem at a fixed rate every month and not as a re-imbursement on account of expenses incurred, you may be able to claim points for it.

Reading this will also be useful.
