Previous earnings query

Post by venkatreddy » Wed Mar 07, 2007 4:25 pm

Hi,
I am trying to apply for HSMP this month. I need clarification about the following. It would be of great help if some one can help me on this.

1)I am presently in UK from October 2006 to till date.
My UK salary doesnt make me eligible so I am applying based on my Indian salary.
The tweleve month period that I would want to be considered is April 1st 2006 to March 31st 2007.
Out of the period I mentioned I was in India from April 1st to October 10th so I am assuming that my earnings will be considered as earnings from India.
Now I need your help on submitting the relevant documents to apply for HSMP.
I have the Indian payslips from April 1st to October.
I have a letter from my company about my salary.
I have a bank statement for the above mentioned period.

Now the question is, should I provide the payslips from UK from November. Should I aslo need the UK bank statement.
And will my earnings here in UK be converted in to Indian rupees to calculate my earnings?

Please let me know the best thing to do in this scenario.
I also want some one to suggest on the following.

I will be eligible for HSMP only if I consider my Indian salary from April 2006 and I worked in India from April 2006 to October 10th 2006. Since I was in India for 6 months and 10 days and 5 months and 20 days in UK (assuming that I apply for HSMP in April 1st week) will I be considered against Indian salary?

Or is it better if I give the 12 month period as Jan 2006 to Jan 2007.
Where I got paid from Oct 10th, 2006 to Jan 2007 in Pounds and if it is converted in to rupees it will make me eligible.

And one last question.
On my Degree certificate it is specified that my medium of study is English.
DO I still need to provide a letter from University?
Please do reply.

Your UK salary must be included becasue you are required to submit 12 months salary prior to your application.

If you were a student, you could use your salary figure before you start studying.
