I was a student who started working 3 months ago. I never worked before. My total salary for these 3 months is already enough (12000 pounds is 25 points for band B countries) for me to get enough points. Do I need to work for 12 months to apply for HSMP or can I apply now ?

Does anybody know the answer to this ? I don't want to apply for "pro rata" but normally since my total income already is above the one required.
