Well It's difficult situation chances are less for VISA extension. But if you can show HO valid reasons then may be they consider it. And also u need to apply for extension before 6-8 weeks of expiry date.

And if you apply again for HSMP it's going to take 5-6 months for processing.

Better come here and start job and apply for extension giving the valid reasons for ur absence.
