Processing time

I have applied Jan 2005 New Delhi as skilled worker. Updated document already submitted June 2009 but till today no information regarding status is recieved till today. Please tell me how long it will take to finalize the application.

Unfortunately for New Delhi that seems to be within the stated time frame. You may want to send a case specific enquiry to them to verify that they have not sent anything that may have been lost in the mail.

Alternately, you could also request a CAIPS report to see where the file is.

However, as your application does seem to be within their processing time frame.

Some have been waiting even longer than that. This was the case until changes in 2007, when the process became faster, but only for applicants who applied after that date. If you applied after the changes, the process is around 12 months.
