Proof of funds - Please help - urgent

Hi everyone

This is my first post on the boards and I'm sorry that it has to be such a desparate one.

I've got an appointment tomorrow to apply in person for a student visa. I have the necessary maintenance funds in my account but my bank has messed up and sent me the statement for my current account instead of savings account! Now I have no time to get a new one and I'm having a bit of a panic attack. I went to the branch and got a stamped printout which shows I've got the necessary funds. However, the statement doesn't include my name - just sort code & account number. I have my previous month's statement which shows my account number, name, etc so they'll be able to tie the two together. Please tell me whether this will be sufficient proof.

Hi

Well you would highly risk your application and are inviting an refusal.

Home office would refuse straight forward if evidence is not accordance to Tier4 Guideline.

Other solution is get bank statements prints from bank machine and get attested by bank.

I got a print out from the bank and had this signed and stamped. My name and address wasn't on the statement so I also provided my last official statement with it. My visa was approved! Hooray!
