Proof of meeting adequate maintenance?

Post by siobhan82 » Fri Dec 04, 2015 5:43 pm

I would appreciate any help in relation to documentary evidence required in proving adequate maintenance.

I will soon be submitting a spouse visa application and I the sponsor would be exempt from financial requirement as I have been in receipt of carer's allowance since 17/08/2015.

Guidance to supporting evidence requests that DWP documentation outlining the award/amount, along with one recent bank statement showing receipt of at least one payment of carer's allowance must be provided.

The remaining funds to satisfy adequate maintenance will come from income related employment and support allowance that I have been in receipt of since March 2012.

When proving receipt of ESA would the award letter and 1 bank statement be sufficient also or would I need to provide bank statements for the last 6 or 12 months?

Many thanks in advance for your kind assistance.

A minimum of 6 months bank statements is required.
