PSW Appeal

Post by lomo » Sun Dec 18, 2011 10:24 pm

Hi,I am planning to apply for PSW. I have few questions on appeals and working.

1. If the visa gets rejected before my current visa expires, can I appeal? Can I work till my appeal is over turned?

No.

Yes, if you are given a right of appeal and that you submit the appeal within the stipulated time.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

Thank you for the reply..but It does sound odd. So does it mean..if my visa gets rejected before my current leave expires...I cant appeal? Then do I have to pack my stuff n leave UK?

If you have extant leave you may re-apply in this or any other category. That's why you don't get appeal rights.

thanks...hope you can help me with these as well,

1. Does it mean I have to pay the application fee again..even if they make a mistake from there side?

2. If the visa gets rejected how long will it take to notify me..from the date of application?

1. Yes. If you believe they have made a mistake in the refusal then you could argue that you should be refunded the second fee.

2. Decisions take around 4 weeks from biometrics.
