PSW Dependant Application and Timeline Blog

As some of you might have seen me being active here in last few days, I have now prepared my baby's PSW application documents and posting them on Monday (22/03/10).

Here is how I have sent the documents (in same order):

1. Cover Letter
2. Dependant Application Form (with an envelope of recent passport sized photos stapled to it)
3. Original Birth Certificate of the baby
4. Original bank statements from HSBC for last 3.5 months
5. Baby's Original Passport
6. Copy of my passport

Now waiting for the goodies!!

22-March-2010 via Royal Mail Special Delivery

B. Application Received by UKBA:
23-March-2010

C. Application Fees Deducted:
23-March-2010

D. Application Confirmation Letter Received:
Never [Perhaps lost in the RM system]

E. Visa Stamped
09-April-2010

F. Passports Received:
14-April-2010 [via Royal Mail Special Delivery]

So total time Door-2-Door to get the visa stamped was 22 days in my case!

Amazingly quick for Home Office!
