PSW through premium service, but did not get my passport :(

HELP ME!!
i have applied for PSW of me and my dependant (husband) through premium service on 1st december, but home office did not give our passports back , n they even did not tell me any decision of my application.
On 5th of december they have given letter to me and my husband that we have to do some enquiries on your application, and this may take some days to make any decision.

now its been 12 days i did not get my passport, and dont know what will happen... WHAT I SHOULD DO???

Maybe they found some irregularities in your application. They will do the necessary checks. if you got nothing to worry about then sit tight and wait. It's very normal. Now your application will treated like a postal one regardless of the premium you paid

last year ukba kept my case for further checks , and they posted me after 55 days with visa. mine was student extension but once they keep the case, they dealt it as postal , be patience and hope for very best.

Thanx for telling me. But now its been 15 days.? My solicitor is going to croydon office daily to know about our passports, but home office is saying its still in progress. What should i do now !!! after few days there will be Christmas holidays!!! Don't know when dey will give me my Passports... Will you guys have any idea when v can get ??? I applied for PSW yesterday (22nd Dec) at Cardiff PEO using premium service. They said they would need to verify documents and told me that they would call me on my mobile today (23rd Dec) to inform me about the decision and subsequently after the Christmas holidays, they would post my originals. However, I have not received any communication from them today. I called up Complaints: 03001234699 but the lady asked me to call back on 28th Dec and check. I also came across the Sheffield Customer Care Number: 0114 207 4074. You could give these numbers a try, though I have not used the second one myself. I am extremely disappointed and I feel that the entire purpose of going for a premium service is defeated if they take so much time and treat them as postal applications!

Additionally, they did not give me any receipt of my original documents with them. So I am not sure what is my Case Reference Number? Is it the same number as the Booking Ref No that we got while booking the appointment online? Is the format 00-0-000000?

Thanks for your reply, they will not give any receipt for your documents. and that is not your case reference number on 1st Dec i hav submitted my application,,, so on 5th of dec home office had given a letter to my solicitor, regarding for further checking. in that letter they have mentioned case reference number.
i have also tried the number you have given me but they are saying that my application is still under process
