psw to tier4 student

hi....urgent help needed..my friend is switching from psw to student, his visa expires on feb 1, he is applying next week for student, my question is it ok if he still work fulltime untill his student visa aarives.

I dont think so as full time work is not permitted for student visa category. So effectively full time work should stop when PSW expires as you are extending stay in a category where full time work is not allowed.

Other members who had been in a similar situation pls advise
