Do I qualify to apply for ILR?

Post by travelerzee » Sat Jan 04, 2014 10:12 pm

hi all,

Can anyone help? I am not sure if will be able to apply for ILR. My visa only expires in November, but I want to be as prepared as possible!

Tier 1 issued: 23/08/2010
Entered UK: 25/08/2010
worked on an Cruise Ship out of Southampton 25/09/2010- 03/03/2011 (159 days)
Spousal visa issued: 13/11/2012 (married to British Citizen)
Expires 13/11/2014

Since coming to the UK in 2010, i have not "lived" outside of the UK, apart from the time spent on the ship. During my time on the Cruise Ship I travelled around the Mediterranean and came back to the UK every 5- 10 days. In addition to this, I have been out of the UK on few holidays which totals about 30days all together.

Will I qualify to apply for ILR? I am not sure if the time I worked on the cruise ship is taken into account as I am now on a different visa?

thanks in advance!
