Hi all,
I am applying for EC from mumbai, india. For my EC application , I am planning to show my investments in addition to liquid cash in bank.
I have around 80 lac in Mutual Fund, Deposits In PPF and Insurance Premium.
I have the original receipt of all the 3 above, that was given to me on the day I made these investments. It was around 6 months back. As I paid through cheque, the payment towards these investments reflect in my bank statement. And since it was 6 months back, these transactions fall under my initial approval claim period. Hence this can be seen in bank statements I submitted for initial HSMP approval.
In this regard , I have following question:
1. Is it sufficient to show the only the receipts I got during payments towards these investments as proof that these funds belong to me. Or is there any other document? I have seen in this forum people submitting Statement for investments. But I did not understand which is this documents. Experienced members , please help in clarifying this.
Thanks in advance,
Andy
