Query about visit visa

I had been in UK for the last 4 years on global business mobility visa, valid till October 2025.

I am leaving UK by end of July 2025 for personal reasons.

My son is coming to UK by September 2025 on a study visa. Is it possible for me to apply for a tourist visa when the other visa is still active? I am thinking of accompanying him.

Please advise.
