Query on Child Benefits Form !

I recently got the ILR on 21 st June 2010.

I am filling child benefit form, i have following query in the form

Question 18 on form : Are you subject to immigration control now or anytime in the last three month - My answer is YES.

Question 19 on form : If you have been subject to immigration control in the last 3 months , enter the date your immigration status granted

My ans is 21/06/2010. Is this correct . I need to enter the date on which i got the ILR ?

Yes, exactly, that is the information to enter.

The point is this, and it explains why the form asks about 3 months. Simply, the usual maximum backdating period is 3 months, but the backdating cannot be back past the date when you got your ILR ..... hence those questions.

So when the claim is agreed the payments will be backdated to 21.06.10 ... onlly.
