Query on Cooling off period

Hi All,

I have a query on my travel to UK if possible. My friend was on UK Tier 2 employer sponsored VISA which was supposed to expire on Jan 2015 and COS upto Dec 31 2014 .

However had to return to India and i believe his visa was cancelled later post his return. He travelled back on July end 2013 and currently query is whether cooling period is to be applied in the above case?

What is the scenario for cooling period and is there any way where travel to UK is possible

He has already spent a cool off period of 12 months outside UK. If he can find a T2 (Gen) sponsor and provided he gets the visa, he can travel to UK anytime from now.

Sorry it should have read July 2014 instead of July 2013.

In that case, if he has to come back on Tier 2 visa, he has to spend 12 months outside UK from the day he returned back.
